Winter combat assaultby ~tyrannos

Some combat practice with winter gear that weights about 30kg. we had lot of marching and running too.

I have to admit, that i like Finn camo patterns alot - both winter, and woodland. Always availible and cheap, also it seems, to be perfect for your terrain conditions.

Another thing is, that I am really impressed, You are very well equpipped conscripts. I have also did my time, but in some of polish units even proffesionals are poorly equipped.

It's very important, that You like what you do, in three weeks I will begin a professional service and I'm hoping that You'll also make it some day!

Thanks lad, but only just recently conscripts have most of the M-05 equipments in my brigade. Usually it's always first for the show or the peacekeepers/spec-ops. But I heard that professional armies have always better stuff?

That is the part, they show on TV. I am not trying to say, that we fight in steel armor and with use of swords, beacouse upgrades and reequipment is now a constant action. But as allways it's never enough and not as intensive action as we would like it to be. Units in my army that are not destinated to participate in missions mainly suffer this problem and soldiers there are not very interested in their training as they are in their retirements... On the other hand units with combat expirience are suffieciently better equipped.

Do You have or will have any opportunity to become a professional soldier?? How is it in your army?

As you know we use conscripts that way you can stay for one year to work there as a sgt. plus we have schools for that if you want to work in army. plus we have open enlistment for professional soldiers.
Our army had several decades ago same military discipline like the germans, but in times like these when we have soda drinking and mmorpg playing fatasses ruining our fun. the discipline is now for pansies unless you count military police. Many people think that army is a joke for that reason.
